1. In short
We only use cookies to measure how the site is used, and only if you click Accept on our cookie banner. Everything else we store in your browser is needed for the site to work. None of it is used for advertising.
2. What cookies and browser storage are
Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. Browser storage (local storage and session storage) works in a similar way, but isn’t sent back to the website with each visit. This policy covers both. Immeka Technologies is a business name of Immeka Pty Ltd (ACN 639 304 073); “we”, “us” and “our” mean Immeka Pty Ltd.
3. Only if you click Accept
| Name | Set by | What it’s for | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Google Analytics | Tells visits from the same browser apart | 2 years |
| _ga_J21QYJ6GB2 | Google Analytics | Keeps track of the current visit | 2 years |
Google Analytics shows us which pages are useful and how people find the site. It doesn’t store your IP address. Google explains how it uses information from sites that use its services (opens in a new tab).
4. Always on, because the site needs them
| Name | Set by | What it’s for | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| cookie-consent | Us (local storage) | Remembers whether you clicked Accept or Decline | Until you clear your browser data |
| immeka-ask | Us (session storage) | Keeps your Ask Immeka conversation if you reload the page | Until you close the tab |
| Turnstile | Cloudflare | Checks you’re not a bot when you click into the Ask Immeka chat. Cloudflare may store information in your browser for this check. | Set by Cloudflare |
Cloudflare’s Turnstile privacy addendum (opens in a new tab) explains what the bot check collects. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle chats.
5. Other websites
Booking a call opens Cal.com, and our social links open LinkedIn, GitHub and Instagram. Those sites’ own cookie policies apply there.
6. Changing your mind
Use , also at the bottom of every page, to see the banner again. If you switch from Accept to Decline, Google Analytics stops and its cookies are deleted.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site works without them. To learn more, visit www.allaboutcookies.org (opens in a new tab).
7. Changes to this policy
We’ll update this policy when the cookies or browser storage the site uses change. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
